Our Grandview bridal boutique is finally open, and last week we had the pleasure of showcasing our new space with fellow wedding vendors, family + friends for an all-day celebration. From live music and models to custom sweets and gift bags, we couldn’t be more grateful for how this gorgeous event came together. Keep scrolling for all the details about our grand opening day!

Pt. 1: The Ribbon Cutting
Our Grand Opening celebrations began with a ribbon cutting in front of our stunning new Grandview Heights location. Joined by Mayor Greta Kearns of Grandview, and many wedding industry friends, our Founder + CEO Lindsay cut a blue tulle bow and made a champagne toast to the guests before welcoming them into the new space. That is, after Jan Kish sabered a bottle of champagne for Lindsay and her husband [and our CFO], Kurt. Guests were greeted by Together + Company with bubbly and by two of our iconic designers, Dany Tabet and Debra of Paris by Debra Moreland, who we were lucky enough to have in town for this momentous occasion!

As guests explored the spacious new boutique designed by Double Knot Home, they were surrounded by luxurious gowns, airy colors and a breathtaking lighting installation. The mirrors in the fitting rooms + bathrooms housed laser-cut decals by Lovely Grain Studio, ready for a photo-op. At the front of the boutique, branded cookies by Flourish by Kylie were placed neatly, waiting for guests to take them home, and the whole store altogether had an elevated party vibe thanks to the chic furniture rentals from Envision Elegance and Aiden + Grace. As guests left, they stopped for yet another photo-op in front of our beautiful custom installation by Grace K. Designs. The afternoon’s magic was captured by Tessa of Starling Studio and by Ashley McComb of Ashley McComb Productions, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Pt. 2: The VIP Party
Once the first part of our celebrations concluded, our team quickly began final preparations for the evening portion – a VIP soiree with Lindsay’s closest friends + industry peers. Bows were tied on gift bags, gowns for our models were steamed, and hors d’oeuvres were placed on trays. At 6 pm, a new round of guests arrived, stepping into a world of bridal magic. String Beat played a Bridgerton-esque collection of songs while our stunning models, Sir’Quora and Victoria donned gowns by Netta BenShabu and Dany Tabet. Our friends at Together and Company stayed around through the evening, sharing delicious bites + bevs throughout the night. Chelsey Barhorst Photography captured all the special moments of our evening event.

Once all of the guests had arrived, Lindsay welcomed everyone with a speech, which was of course ended with another Jan Kish champagne sabering, followed by her custom-made LJM cupcakes, alongside a stunning modern cake from Miam Cake. As music filled the boutique and fitting rooms came to feel more like intimate living rooms, our Grandview Heights bridal boutique glowed into the evening. Laughter filled the air as guests continued to explore the new space, food and drink in hand.

Oh, and remember the photo-op installation we had during the day? We turned it around to reveal a custom-built shelf for our gift bags by night! As guests trickled out, they each picked up a gift bag, complete with gifts from CAPS Plastic Surgery, Penn + Beech, and Together and Company, and a heartfelt ‘thank you’ from our team.

Our team worked hard to bring this event to life, but we would be remiss not to mention the driving force behind it all – Alexa Kate Events. Alexa, pictured below with #ljmrealbride + owner of Cliffside Acres Jordan, supported our team in countless ways leading up to and during this event. Without her, this night would not have been nearly as magical.
