Alexa and Mitch got married at the stunning Gordon Green Events in Cleveland, Ohio this past May and we are still swooning over the gown and the details that came together for their dream summer wedding.
This wedding truly holds a special place in our hearts because not only is Alexa our Marketing Coordinator, but her photographer, Victoria is now our Marketing Director. Their friendship is one that runs deep but what runs even deeper is the love that Alexa and Mitch share which is so evident in their photos.
To start the day, the two got ready with their best loved ones overlooking the waterfront of downtown Cleveland. They knew off the bat it would make the perfect backdrop for their photos, inside and outside the Hilton.

The Gown
Alexa’s Dany Tabet gown, Eutropia, was made of a European jacquard with a rose organza and the perfect puff sleeves. With working in the industry, she genuinely felt like every gown was beautiful in its own way. Many dresses she put on made her feel pretty, but Dany Tabet Eutropia is what made being a bride a reality and had the perfect balance of wow-factor while still feeling like herself. When she saw herself in the mirror at La Jeune Mariee, complete with her Toni Federici veil and Paris by Debra Moreland accessories she knew she had found the perfect look. The dreamy white-on-white florals, the long, romantic train, the off-the-shoulder neckline and statement sleeves were some of her favorite details and on the wedding day contrasted perfectly against Mitch’s classic ensemble from The Black Tux. Not to mention the soft shades of taupe that her bride tribe wore by Show Me Your Mumu.

About Alexa’s shopping experience
“Getting to truly experience our appointments and stylists’ expertise in first-person, as the bride, was really special. Our boutiques really are the best, and I feel even more confident in that after being a bride myself.
Cait was my stylist for my bridal appointment and Maddy styled my wedding day look with accessories at my Meet The Gown appointment. Between the methodology that made these appointments so smooth + seamless, and my stylists’ mastery of bridal styling + hype girl energy, it was truly magical and stress-free. Core memories were made!”
That’s something that we love here within our boutique and beyond — core memories — and the wedding day is definitely one of them. Katie at KirkBrides made sure Alexa and Mitch’s day was a core memory for everyone present. They wanted the guest experience to feel romantic, elevated and fun — a really great party. They envisioned a beautiful outdoor ceremony, golden hour cocktails on the patio, candle-lit reception dinner followed by so much dancing, and truthfully, it went just like that. Between the floral installations from Bouquets by Becky and atmosphere set by DJ Marcus Alan Ward, it was truly the most perfect day celebrating their love, surrounded by those they love most.
