Our team has returned from New York Bridal Fashion Week feeling inspired and excited by the trends we’ll be bringing back to Columbus for our future brides! We’ve rounded up the top trends we saw on designer runways, and included gowns that follow these trends already in-store. Keep scrolling for inspo and to book your appointment!
Separates + Multi-Piece Looks
This year, we immediately noticed the rise in multi-piece bridal looks! Whether it be a completely separate look where the bodice and skirt are two different pieces, or a wedding dress styled with a scarf or cape, many designers are offering ways to truly make your look your own. In addition to separates, we also saw a variety of gowns that appear to be separate, with the corset bodice sitting above the waistline of the skirt, to give the illusion of a two-piece bridal look!

Modified Basque Waists
As we viewed new 2026 bridal trends, basque and drop waists aren’t going anywhere, but they do come with a twist! We noticed that many designers have modified the classic basque waistline, varying between an extra-deep basque, a more rounded and subtle basque, to a squared off basque waistline or a unique basque waists with a ‘deconstructed’ kind of look. These modifications are the perfect way to make your bridal look feel true to your style, while staying on-trend!

Tulip Neckline
If you loved Millie Bobby Brown’s bridal look, you’ll love this emerging 2026 bridal trend! The tulip neckline refers to necklines that have a peak in the middle, similar to petals on a tulip. This chic and modern detail looks beautiful with a variety of silhouettes and levels of detail, and is a fun way to incorporate bridal trends into your wedding day look!
Tulip Skirts
On the other hand, we also saw what designers are referring to as ‘tulip skirts’. Tulip skirts are full, exaggerated ball gowns with rounded hems and overlapping panels of fabric at the front, mimicking the overlapping petals of a tulip! This style is reminiscent of vintage couture looks from houses like Chanel, and is perfect for the bride who wants something unique yet timeless.
Brocade + Jacquard
Brocade and jacquard fabric is when a design is woven into the design of the fabric, as opposed to printed or embroidered on top of the fabric. This creates a subtle yet durable and textured print on the fabric, and is a beautiful way to add detail and dimension to a bridal look, while still keeping it clean and sleek. We saw brocades and jacquards paired with a variety of other trends, such as multi-piece looks, basque waists, and bows!

Over the Top Ball Gowns
As the basque and drop waists get more dramatic, so do the ball gowns! We saw many dramatic, show-stopping ball gowns paired with many of the other trends discussed here, like jacquard, lace, basque waists and more! Many ball gowns are also come with a removable skirt, letting the bride have her full silhouette for the ceremony, and a slimmer one for the reception.

Lace
Lace will always be a timeless bridal detail, but she’s really having her moment right now! We saw stunning, intricate laces from almost every designer, and each lace gown had something different and unique to love. From fitted sheath-style looks to show stopping lace ball gowns, if you’re a bride-to-be dreaming of a lace gown but are unsure what other details you’ll be liking, have no fear! The bridal landscape in 2025 and 2026 is made just for you.

Sparkle
Sparkle is another one of those elements that will always be around in bridal, but she really came to shine this year! Designers have incorporated sparkle and shimmer into their dresses in a variety of ways, from intricate beading, crystals on top of laces, or draping pearls.

Corsetry + Exposed Cups
To add to the daring drama of 2026 bridal trends, we viewed many gowns that featured exposed corsetry in the bodice, adding a sultry element to these dresses. Corsets provide structure and support to your bridal look, and leaving this boning exposed adds an editorial feel to your wedding day look!

Peplums
A peplum refers to a short, flared piece of fabric at the waistline of a dress to create movement and dimension. This season, we saw peplums returning to the couture fashion scene, paired with a multitude of other bridal trends like lace, sparkle and bows!
Bows
Bows have been trending for a few seasons now, but they’re not going anywhere for 2026 brides. From large, statement-making bows at the back of the gown, to subtle additions to the design, the bow trend has received a fresh upgrade this season and we’re not mad about it!
